Dear Raed,

I'm on a school trip to Egypt, and we're staying in Cairo. I'm having a great time. It is the capital city of Egypt. There are lots of tall buildings and modern skyscrapers. There are old buildings too. There's a famous museum. It's a very interesting city. Cairo is in the north of Egypt. It's a busy city. It's near the desert and it's very hot. It's hotter than Amman. In the summer it's about 35 degrees Centigrade. There are some hills but there aren't any forests. It's windy and sometimes there are sandstorms in the summer. Amman isn't as windy as Cairo. Cairo isn't on the coast but it's on The River Nile. It is the longest river in the world. It's amazing. I like Cairo a lot! Write soon.
